My name is Morgan, and I am a beekeeper.

I practice treatment-free beekeeping in Tewa Territory in Northern New Mexico, in bio-diverse and organically farmed areas such as Velarde, alongside the Rio Grande, and across the Taos Valley.

Beekeeping is meditative, restorative, and taxing, all at once. The picturesque moments go hand-in-hand with toil.

I began my beekeeping adventures about four years ago during a full moon hive inspection in the Sange de Cristo mountains. I love learning the animal husbandry (wifendry? camaraderie?) element of tending bees, and the science of bees never fails to ignite my curiosity.
